I'm a photographer, a photography educator, and most importantly for context, a mum of three who genuinely believes that the photos you take of your own family are some of the most valuable things you'll ever create.
I didn't start here. I trained as a midwife, hated the roster, wanted to be home with my baby, and taught myself photography as a way out. What started as a side project became Fable & Fig, a photography business I ran for 10+ years, shooting newborns, families, businesses and maternity sessions.
But the thing I loved most was never the client work. It was picking up my camera on holidays. Photographing my kids on ordinary Tuesdays. Building a visual record of our family that nobody can take from us. Tales Told grew out of that. I wanted to teach other people what I'd learned so they can do it too because I believe its one of the most valuable skills I have ever learned as a mum. This bundle has everything I know.
